Securing a Visa to Ghana

Ready to visit Ghana? Follow our recommendations for securing your visa quickly and easily, then contact the Ghana embassy in your country (links below):

1 - Plan your itinerary. We can help!

2 - Make sure you have contact information: Name, phone and addresses where you'll be staying. You'll need these for your visa application.

3 - Purchase your airline ticket. You'll need to show that for your visa application.

4 - To visit Ghana, you'll need:
- passport
- visa (multiple copies)
- evidence of yellow fever vaccination
- fee
- visa application

5 - Chances are...when you get here, you'll want to come back. The cost of a five-year visa is not much more than a single visit visa. We recommend getting the five-year visit, so you can visit us whenever you like! (If you get the five-year visa, you don't have to show itinerary, airplane ticket or any information next time you want to visit. Just bring your passport with your five-year visa and you're set!)

6 - Want a quick turnaround? Most embassies offer quick service for an extra fee. Ship it to them overnight and include a prepaid overnight envelope for the return.

7 - Get started! Contact the Ghana consulate or embassy in your country for a visa application, up-to-date details, addresses and turnaround times:
